Joseph P. Lucia,SE-AWMA® is the Founder and CEO of Joseph P. Lucia & Associates, LLC - A Financial Advisory Group. He is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the firm.  With over 23 years of experience in the financial service industry, Joseph has been helping individuals, small business owners and high net worth individuals both in and out of the sports and entertainment industries achieve their financial goals through fee-based financial planning and wealth management. 

Joseph has earned the the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ Designation. The Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor?, or SE-AWMA®, certification provides Joseph with the specialized knowledge to help high-net-worth clients in sports and entertainment capitalize on opportunities to preserve, grow, and transfer their wealth. Joseph’s skills, augmented with the knowledge gained from this designation, allow him to analyze and evaluate different planning strategies, including qualitative planning, trusts, investments, employee and retirement benefits, cash flow and tax planning, business planning, and estate planning. This designation is currently held by less than 500 advisors in the country. 

Acknowledged as one of the premier financial planners and wealth managers in the industry, Joseph was named by Cambridge as "Professional of The Year in the Financial Services Industry".  Joseph was also selected by Newsweek Magazine as one of the  "Best Wealth Manager in Greater New York" and by both Westchester and Hudson Valley Magazine as a "Five Star Wealth Manager: Best In Client Satisfaction" Award Winner.  This elite award was presented to less than 7% of all financial service professionals which is made up wealth managers, financial advisors, life insurance agents, accountants, tax advisors, attorneys, bankers, etc. Joseph is a proud registered member of the National Ethics Association supporting the enhanced transparency and ethical business practices in the industry.  

Joseph resides in Westchester, NY with his wife and their four children.  In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, traveling, physical training, and fulfilling his passion for sports, entertainment and giving back to his community.  A prominent philanthropist in his community, Joseph is very active with the United Way of Westchester, Shrub Oak Sports Association, Seton CYO basketball program, Westcheser Elite Association and Putnam County's Financial Education Program and encourages all of his associates to give back and get involved with community organizations.

Prior to founding Joseph P. Lucia & Associates, LLC in 2008, Joseph was a Financial Advisor with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise Financial) where he built a successful financial planning practice that ranked as one of Ameriprise's top financial advisory firms in the NY Metro area.  During this tenure with American Express/Ameriprise Financial, Joseph earned the following recognition:
