John Sloan

A Bronx native and Yankee fan, John has had a varied career, working for major corporations such as IBM and AT&T, to small entrepreneurial firms.  While the titles changed, the assignments centered on responding to client needs in an energetic and professional manner.  As a producer with MetLife he advised clients on insurance and retirement investments.  Now with Joseph P. Lucia & Associates since its inception he views his postion of financial advisor as an ideal job – allowing him to consult with people in a relaxed but productive environment.  Like his colleagues here, John stresses that the typical client is seeking an advisor who “will not push product, but take the time to understand individuals’ and families’ long-term needs.”

John is a 39 year resident of Cortlandt New York, where he lives with his wife, Rita, a Vice President of Finance with AXA, and before they grew up, his daughter Victoria, an attorney with Epstein, Becker & Green, and his son, John, who is a client account manager with Pershing and Co.

John is a former four term elected councilmen with Cortlandt, former Plannig Board chairman, certified Project Manager, and is licensed to recommend a wide range of financial products and services.
